That’s not how it works in the coaching world. Moves have to be made quickly. All of the good replacements will already be elsewhere if you don’t act fast.
BK already knows which guys are going to be let go.

the "few weeks" is for House to search for another job, and for Kelly to search as well.
the problem is the Kelly has proven to not work on the schedule that everyone wants him to work on.

He is an incompetent.
He will be fired.
It is too risky for BK personally to keep him. House would have to knock it out of the park next year or the fans will be after Kelly's scalp, too afterwards.
