It wouldn't surprise me at all if this were true but I guess I don't understand why they couldn't do this with ICE vehicles?

Any vehicle that is equipped with On Star or similar software has the path way to be remotely disabled , if I remember correctly.

You can carry a gallon of gas far easier than you can carry a gallon of electricity. It’s not because you can’t disable an ICE vehicle, it’s just far easier to control the distribution of electricity.

It would shock me if it was true, because they CAN do this with ICE vehicles.
