Any vehicle that is equipped with On Star or similar software has the path way to be remotely disabled , if I remember correctly.

You can carry a gallon of gas far easier than you can carry a gallon of electricity. It’s not because you can’t disable an ICE vehicle, it’s just far easier to control the distribution of electricity.
