Nothing more than a hunch but...his childhood buddy, Bryce Young, went to the SEC to play top tier football. Jayden saw a wall at ASU under Herm "The Germ" Edwards.
Bingo for LSU - perfect landing spot. SEC, new proven coach in BK and Denbrock, top tier receivers, top tier facilities, top tier fan base, etc. No brainer!
I hope his return for final year sends a clear message to other players. If Les was still coach he'd have bolted last year.
