LHSAA playoffs is a bad system.

Ouachita was 3 & 7 finished 2 & 3 in district finished 4th in district. Made Playoffs. Bad system.

It’s because of the split..
Bad teams make the playoffs to fill the brackets.

They have Bye weeks up and down the whole system. They can make everyone play by cutting out teams that should not be in playoffs.

Hell I would say give no one a bye and let 8 more in select playoffs and 4 more in non-select. The chance of upsets in the first round like that are almost non-existent! making the "playoffs" for some schools would be great for their programs. And then by the quarterfinals and semis the real deal would be happening.

I’d rather just give everybody one more regular season game and cut the brackets to 16 teams

More teams in the playoff the better, but LHSAA system as a whole is bad.
