Also, this. Ketamine has been instrumental in treating my treatment-resistant depression, anxiety, & Complex PTSD. I get an infusion every other week and take sublingual troches every 3 days in the meantime.

To the OP - If you can find a place near you that does it, the infusions are probably going to be several hundred dollars each, I pay $299ea for mine, which is a steal, but I was also basically the first patient my doctor had for them and he's let me keep the rate, so you could expect to pay $5-650 (on the low end) per infusion. The troches I take every 3 days are inexpensive, pick them up for $50 at a local compound pharmacy.

Ketamine can make a dramatic difference, but it's best not to use solely on it's own. Find a good medication plan that's keeping him better, or at least stable, as the infusion often makes your antidepressant meds work even better.

You usually start with a preset 4-6 (usually 6) treatments, like mine was 3x/week on back to back weeks for 6, to really put yourself on a solid footing mentally and emotionally. You can usually feel a substantial relief in symptoms following one or two sessions, they do tend to work very fast, so that's another pro. You then use the troches, and maintenance infusions as needed, to keep it going.
