you do realize that all medical professional boards have drug diversion and rehabilitation programs, right? typically, there's an inpatient rehab assignment, random drug monitoring, and mandated AA/NA attendance... different boards have various degrees of prescribed programs but it's not a "one strike and you're out" type of thing, pretty much across the board of all medical professions
