So it's just Michael Anthony from the original band? Hilarious. Who is going to play keyboards and how overpriced is this going to be?

Why does the linked article state that Jason Newsted will not be part of the tour? He was in Metallica, not Van Halen.

I recently paid $35 to see Dinosaur Jr. The overpriced shows tend to be the nostalgia old dudes that can't play anymore. Also, Van Halen after DLR sucks.

That's just another variant of Sammy and Michael's side projects, for lack of a better term "Chicken Circle". (Chickenfoot is Sammy, Michael, Satch and Chad Smith. The Circle is Sammy, Michael, Vic Johnson and Jason Bonham.)
Probably better to just call them Chickenfoot with Bonham instead of Smith, though.

I'm sure all 100 people at that show were ecstatic at that cost. The reality is that concerts are tremendously overpriced. You should've paid $10 for that show

Dinosaur Jr were far from a one hit wonder. Entire albums are truly great (You're Living All Over Me and Green Mind).

How many hits did they have? I agree they are a great band. J is very unique and good, but liking them does not change that feel the pain was their only hit.
