Candace Owens and Ben Shapiro are having a very public break-up on Twitter right now

She is currently employed by Shapiro at The Daily Wire. The two are absolutely at each other's throats on social media right now. If I didn't know better, I'd almost say this was staged. However, things are starting to get personal.

Candace does this thing where she is clearly talking about someone or something, but doesn’t directly say it, just posts cryptically. Then when she gets called out on it, she plays victim.
Doing it with scripture is extremely gross.
You can dislike Ben Shapiro but also realize Candace wants to be a perpetual victim. She’s trying to get fired so she can cry woe is me for the next two years.

I kind of fall on Team Shapiro myself because Candace did have a very strange friendship/relationship with Kanye West right before he decided to commit career suicide with his "Hitler wasn't that bad of a dude" routine.

Shapiro is close to being a neo-con and Candace is a straight up grifter. I have to lean towards Shapiro but it’s not by much. Neither represent the majority of people in our collective base.

I don’t even think this is about Shapiro, it’s about Candace. Shapiro is Shapiro. You know what you are getting with him, a lot of people don’t like him and I totally get it. Candace has gotten into it with Dave Rubin recently as well. I don’t think Shapiro has handled this conflict well, but Candace is an ignoramus.

Seems like she's trying to bitch enough to get fired so Daily Wire has to keep paying her, and I presume Shapiro is well-versed in law enough to not do that.
They're both annoying, though Shapiro with Daily Wire has built an enormously profitable company so I respect the work he's done, and he's also a good thinker albeit a bit off target for me on some topics.
Candace was a good voice but it seems like she just peddles her schtick wherever she can get a job for a couple years before landing somewhere else. Much like Jason Whitlock. Maybe they can finally team up next.

She is very much against Israel's current war against Hamas because of the civilians who are presently in the firing line. That's where this disagreement started. Shapiro is an orthodox Jew with family and friends currently living in Israel and also happens to be her boss.
I got the sense that tensions had been rising between the two of them over her views but now they're really starting to boil over into the public. It really got going when Shapiro fielded a question the other day during a Q&A where he called Candace Owens's recent behavior "disgusting."

Interesting, I hadn't heard that.
I also don't keep up with Owens much, so I wasn't aware she was taking that sort of stance with the Israel/Palestine conflict. I need to look into what she has to say. I don't think I'll agree, I'm just interested in seeing how far off base she probably is.

She also incorrectly accused Jews of forcing Muslims to live in the Muslim quarters in Jerusalem.
She cheered on a pro-Palestinian protest and said people were waking up.
She isn’t some American first bystander. She’s supporting Hamas and isn’t hiding it.

Candace is a holdover from when republicans were promoting blacks and especially black females as tokens to try to get over the accusations of being racist and misogynistic. She’s just a grifting opportunist with zero foundational principles

I can understand not wanting the US getting involved (I'm halfway there as well), but siding with Hamas? Grifters gonna grift, I guess.
