If the handicap option doesn’t pan out, you can maybe find a parking pass for sale as it gets closer. Look on the Ticket Exchange board.

I would park at the Pastime and take their shuttle to and fro.

Hell I’ve done it and am in perfect health.

Tiger fans were totally disrespectful and idiots this past Saturday at the Florida game. I almost got into 5 fights.

It is a danged shame that my first thought was 65 years old is not elderly.

The closer I get to that age, the less old it seems. I'm close to it and still take several 30+ mile mountain backpacking trips each year.

What’s your point? We’re talking about transportation.

65 elderly? I was expecting at least late 70’s plus.
Health issues? Fat? I’m in my mid 50’s and can’t imagine needing special assistance in 10yrs without a major health event, which is possible.
I play pickleball with people 65+ sometimes and they can kick arse.

If this is true, I bet she can figure out parking herself and is only letting you help to placate you.

If you park off of Gourrier, there are pedicabs that will take you to the stadium.

Pedicabs - as annoying as a Bird scooter, with the added bonus of talking to a hipster.

I can assure you this is true. She gave me the “Sharpshooter” pin that she wore on her uniform. I’d post a pic, but it doesn’t list the parish on the pin, so it’s not very useful as proof. But if it satisfies curiosity, I’d be happy to post a pic of it, even though it’s completely nondescript.

Unfortunately, she never left Calcasieu parish, where she was born and raised, and somehow never figured out how to use the internet beyond an early 90’s level.

Sorry for everyone that took offense to “65+” as being considered elderly. I was intentionally vague on her age, and she does have issues, like a double knee replacement.

She decided to book a hotel room for her friends and herself that has shuttles to and from the game, rather than try to drive back home to LC after the game. I think the recommendations I passed along to her of taking a shuttle or bus must have struck a chord with her.

Thank you all for the serious and extremely helpful recommendations.
