Placing this game against Ohio St and Michigan really fricked Daniels here. You would think the officials of the SEC would want to showcase Daniels (their lone Heisman contender) and place him in a primetime game at night. Those frickers in Birmingham are either incompetent or just looking to frick this program at every turn.

The real ignorance here is thinking the SEC office sets the game times.

I believe the bone you have to pick is with ESPN, not the SEC, but carry on.

You didn’t read any of the 10 threads about this yesterday when it was explained multiple times that the TV networks pick the times of games and not the SEC?

On the brightside, maybe people will stay past mid 3rd quarter against an SEC rival?

If you look at the choices it really is the least appealing especially with Jimbo gone. My only gripe is UGA v GT not being at 11.

Someone can correct me if I’m wrong but I believe that is considered an ACC game since Georgia Tech is the home team. That’s why it is the ABC night game.

Two ways to look at it.

1. We got fricked by the network getting the 11 am spot. This won't help Jayden's Heisman campaign.

2. If Daniels shows out, his highlights play all day long, and everyone sees it.

The game of the day is Ohio State & Michigan. Someone had to occupy that slot on ESPN. I do think they could have picked a less interesting storyline for that 11:00 matchup.

LSU vs Aggies should always be a night game. No matter how good or bad.

But there is a positive way to look at it.

If you really want to throw out conspiracies, you should aim it at ESPN wanting to ensure the Heisman is one of the guys likely to be in the playoffs. Hence matching LSU/TAM against OSU/Mich to showcase MHJ & McCarthy.

Right. I'm sure ESPN's goal is to showcase a game on FOX.
