Big man needed in the worse way. Can not get a rebound in the crucial time.

Dyson showing some great signs, but passing on Duren is coming back to haunt this team. Your rim protection and rebounding force was there for the taking

Negative and although i like Duren…but passing on Mark Williams is going to be another feather in our cap that hurts us.

Should have worked something out with CHA for that pick.

Not getting Jared Vanderbilt last trade deadline hurt.

That's the rough reminder.

We could have BOTH Dyson Daniels and Mark Williams.

Starters: McCollum/Jones/Ingram/Williamson/Valanciunas
Bench: Alvarado/Daniels/Marshall/Murphy/Williams

Is a whole lot better.

We went into that draft needing 3pt shooting and rim protection.

We got neither and passed on Duren, Williams and Kessler in the process.

They did get shooting in this last draft though. Hopefully Hawkins and dyson can form a backcourt duo for this team going forward.

I'm pretty sure they wanted Lively in this draft. They met with him multiple times. The cards just didn't fall in place and Hawkins has been amazing for us especially with all the injuries.

The good news is, there'll be some quality bigs in this draft. But I'm not sure they have the time to wait on a big to produce knowing the stakes.

They may have to see if they can trade for one at the deadline.

For sure, despite all eyes being on husky and slim the bigs are still the biggest concern on this team. Nance may still be injured, and if that's the case it's adding on to his already shaky injury profile.

Pels have a slow and non-explosive pivot contingent. Not just for rim protection and perimeter defense, but now it's showing up on the offensive end not being able to finish. I've seen at least 20 missed opportunities between the two within 4' of the rim, with 3 or 4 of them missed with no contest (just couldn't get their feet straight to just go up and dunk).

Pels have hope to be a very good team now, and even better when TM3 and CJ return, but won't be a contender until they address the pivot position. Pels for sure like the core of Herb, TM3, Dyson, and CJ with slim and husky, however one of the fan-favorites may have to go to upgrade the pivot position.

They should go after Olynyk. He should be available since he's an expirer and it'll open up minutes for Taylor Hendricks to get some playing time.

Olynyk would be an upgrade, I also like Gafford too. The problem is that your main trade assets going into the year (Nance, Val, Kira, Naji (injury)) have not flashed so Pels may have to come off wing depth to make a deal if salary and picks aren't enough to get it done.

It's going to hurt, but we might have to sacrifice Matt Ryan.

Matt is lagniappe... but yeah it'll take coming off a good wing, salary, and a pick to get what you want at the Pivot to truly go all-in.

Matt is on a 2 way, he doesn’t really ahve any value in a trade

I wonder if we end up signing him to a real deal? I think he’s plays good enough defense to justify his shooting off the bench.

I hope we do.

I would send Naji out in a deal and sign Matt to a full deal

Oh, he's on a 2-way? I didn't know. I don't really follow the team much.
