re: Any success stories hunting in the rain?

I've seen a huge buck come out when it was pouring buckets. Raining so hard he couldn't see or hear me. I still don't know how he knew I was there. Possibly wind but the rain was falling straight down. He came out in the lane, ran straight away for 2 hops and back in the woods he went. Probably just scent checking scrapes I guess. After the rain a real nice 8pt came out from behind me.
