We are passed the two weeks. Have I missed an update or did they really just not say anything?

You do know what organization were talking about here correct?
Don’t expect to hear anything anytime soon. They probably forgot 2 weeks ago they told everyone we will update you in 2 weeks.

He’s got an ankle.
Seriously though, getting a 2nd opinion from a specialist for what should be a simple ankle injury when he also has a history of stress reaction was never a good sign.

It’s my fault for being hopeful, but I really wanted him for the in season tournament

You are simply confused. The two weeks referenced the time we had to wait for the next two week update.

Medical updates for Pelicans:
CJ McCollum underwent imaging on his small pneumothorax in his right lung. Team says it showed positive healing. He'll be re-evaluated on a later date.
Jose Alvarado (sprained ankle) is expected to return to full team practice in 1-2 weeks.
Two weeks
