I’m fine with (R)Daniel Cameron, but we don’t really NEED a different governor than the one we have. (D)Andy B is the only likable D alive today; a lot of republicans here like him. Better than the goon 4 years ago that lost to Andy.
Daniel can be a very good governor, no doubt; but I believe that Andy could , if reelected, inevitably end up in DC, and HOPEFULLY bring the D’s back towards the middle.
Or you could just vote for a republican instead of hoping a dem moves to the middle.
fricking people...

Alright it is starting to move more in Cameron's direction. Casey County in 2019 was 73.5 - 25.1 for Bevin and right now, with an estimated 42% in it's 77 - 23 Cameron. I use that one as an example because it's the most in so far.

bingo
we have morons on here who will vote for a shite candidate instead of getting the R thru

If Matt Bevin wasn’t such a flaming, fricking a-hole we wouldn’t have had Beshear to begin with. I’m in Graves County and the polls at both high schools and Trace Creek Baptist Church have been busy stream all day.

where the updates?
Beshear is going to win. He is outperforming 2019 numbers in most counties, especially in Coal/Appalachia belt. Rural turnout is down and urban turnout is flat. Beshear probably by 3-4% when it is all counted.

It usually is but we got hit by the tornado two years ago and Beshear brought in the state and federal aid to us.

Lexington is almost complete. Still a lot of western KY to go which is strong Red

Lexington will never be complete until they need it to be.

It’s really hard for non Kentuckians to wrap their head around, but a lot of the people that voted for Trump also support Beshear. That family simply has a lot of affection among many old line blue collar families in the state.

Which every single governor would do. God, he has this state fooled.

Louisville is the challenge. Not Lexington. Around 320,000 population in Fayette County (Lexington). Around 778,000 population in Jefferson County (Louisville). Louisville will be the one who will never be complete until Beshear is on top.

It's just so dump and hard to understand other than that the fact that the Beshear family is essentially royalty in Kentucky.

Democracy wins in the Commonwealth of Kentucky! We actually like our Democrat governor. Y’all have fun with JBE another year tho. So glad I moved away from Louisiana.

I was just goofing off. I know nothing about KY. Actually, why is everyone so focused on the KY Governor race?

Probably trying to make it out to be some kind of bellwether given that the presidential is a year away. Only thing is, democrats have held the governorship in Kentucky for 80 out of the past 101 years. It’s a surprise anytime that a republican gets elected.
