I still don't think anything happens because of all the money involved. You'll basically be telling Fox that the osu/Michigan game this year will be worthless. Good luck with that.

The University of Michigan has fired recruiting analyst Connor Stalions, a source tells Yahoo Sports. He was previously suspended with pay during the NCAA investigation into in-person scouting.

Connor Stalions refused to cooperate with any internal or external investigations or discussions, source said.

A vast majority of the Big Ten coaches expressed their frustrations with the ongoing signal-stealing investigation at Michigan in a video call with commissioner Tony Petitti on Wednesday, sources told ESPN.
The call, which took 90 minutes, included nearly an hour without Michigan coach Jim Harbaugh, who hung up after the regularly scheduled Big Ten business to allow the conference's coaches to speak freely about the NCAA's investigation into Michigan.
According to five sources familiar with the call, a chorus of voices encouraged Petitti to take action against Michigan in a call that was described as both intense and emotional.
"Collectively, the coaches want the Big Ten to act -- right now," said a source familiar with the call. "What are we waiting on? We know what happened."

The coaches in the Big Ten laid out to Petitti, who was hired in April, just how distinct of a schematic advantage Michigan has held the last three years by illegally obtaining the opposition's signals ahead of time, as has been alleged.
Coaches used words like "tainted," "fraudulent" and "unprecedented" on the call to describe Michigan's signal-stealing scheme, as has been alleged. Much of the call, according to sources, was coaches explaining to Petitti both how it worked and how it impacted them and their programs. Both in-person opponent scouting and using electronic equipment to steal signals are not allowed by NCAA rules.

Penalty options - tied to the Big Ten’s sportsmanship policy - have been discussed by conference & school leaders, who wish to avoid impacting players.
The sportsmanship policy’s “standard” disciplinary action includes a fine and 1 or 2-game suspension.

Several sources at Michigan and in the media tell TheWolverine.com they are gathering evidence on two private investigators they believe are behind the investigation into U-M’s alleged illegal on-site scouting. The same sources also believe the two are responsible for the media leaks that have kept the story in the news for weeks.
Reporters are working to put the pieces together, but we know Michigan is currently in possession of documents that could link one of the alleged investigators to Day’s younger brother, Timothy Day. The other they suspect is linked to Day’s brother, Christopher, and was also a classmate of Tim Day’s in New Hampshire. One currently runs a private investigation firm in Manchester, N.H., Day’s hometown.

what are people gonna cry about when Michigan finishes the regular season 5-0 after the vast network was discovered?

Yeah, I’m sure Michigan totally doesn’t have the signs for their remaining opponents.

You don't think this still has an effect?
Interesting.

Yeah, I’m sure the remaining opponents are dense enough to keep the same signs after all this… fricking idiot

Somehow TCU had no problem changing their signs

You think teams can completely overhaul their sign system that quickly while going through their normal game week routine? You do realize these are college kids and you have to code your signs to the dumbest player?
Teams that play Michigan the next few weeks have no shot at completely overhauling it. There’s a reason why MSU ran in their playcalls last week.

TCU had a month to prepare.
I expect Ohio State should be fine since they are the furtherest out. Purdue and Penn State have zero shot at changing everything.

If Ed Orgeron can do it mid game then I’m confident anyone can.

The report credits sources as saying that Clemson sent people to scout the Tigers during the SEC title game and Peach Bowl that season. When the two teams faced off on Jan. 13, 2020 in the CFP title game, the Tigers' Joe Burrow-led offense started the game with three consecutive drives that ended in punts. LSU coach Ed Orgeron then reportedly told offensive coordinator Steve Ensminger to "Change it up" and use different signals.

You think LSU completely changed their signals in game without prior prep?

What a bunch of jealous cucks.
Harbaugh is easily the best coach in Big 10

The thing that gets me with this shite is it's so easy to change things up. surely someone in all of these games had to realize at somepoint michigan seemed to know what was going on. Maybe stop signaling plays and start calling them in or change your signals or DO SOMETHING DIFFERENT.

They gave up almost 100 points to TCU when they didn’t know the signs.
I’d say the illegally obtained knowledge of the signals helped them in their other games.

It’s definitely an option but has some negatives (e.g. if offenses want to go tempo because the coaches spot a personnel advantage).
This gets back to entire issue. You are essentially punishing Michigan’s opponents no matter how those teams try to mitigate the issue. Even if a team is able to completely overhaul their signals, that is significant time lost in other game prep activities.
