I have a SodaSense. It's pretty great if you like sparkling water. I will usually add a squeeze of lime or lemon, and it is a good drink to sip on, with basically 0 calories.

How do you get it to carb? I put homemade root beer in a keg and left it on gas @ 20psi for a day and it was still flat.

It take a lot of gas and time to carb 5 gallons of water. With a Sodastream, you are only carbing about 18-24oz of water.
I'm sure there are other factors too.
