I used to work with a guy that lives around there he sent that picture to me the other day and then texted me a few days later and said it was confirmed that deer was 1 of 3 bucks that escaped from a high fence two years ago. Apparently there is still one that hasn’t been killed yet. Regardless of where it came from, it was free ranging for 2 years before she killed it.

Skeptical me says that looks like a high fence deer farm deer.

Because it is. The best whitetail hunters in country don't get 3 monsters back to back years. This girl is on pace to be the best ever. Public land isn't growing deer that fricking big without feed.

Sure sounds like some on here are a little jealous. Oklahoma has been producing some great bucks in recent years. Very possible this is a wild buck. Don’t shoot the two year old bucks and you too might kill one like a 14 year old girl. Lol.

Come on man. That's BS and you know it. I'm not jealous because she's not killing real deer. Anyone with 2 eyes see that's a high fence deer that's getting fed protein.

I can go on guided hunts and high fence and kill deer like that too but what's the point? Post it on Facebook?

No ear tags. No velvet still hanging off. Not sure why a dad would make up a story that she killed it on public land if it wasn’t.

This is obviously a high fence buck, right?

Maybe it was public land but that's a high fence deer all day long. An 11pt, 13pt,and now a possible state record. I think there's alot being left out of that story.

Bowie County High Fence Escapee killed 2020

Link above (hopefully works), same county. Army Corps land . 269” high fence escapee killed in 2020.

Not saying it proves anything, but it’s happened before in that area. FTR, I’m not the one insinuating the hunt was high-fence, I do feel it likely that this deer spent some time in a fence.

I can see some old puss-nutted baw telling this girl that’s not a real deer since he thinks it came from a high fence.

Reminds me of the first bass I caught, on a cricket/bream rig. It was about 13” long, I was telling my buddy about it and some old dude at his house who I didn’t know told me “it’s not that big of a fish.” Frick that old inferiority complex cocksucker, too.

I'll take a nice 8pt or 10pt on my lease over a high fence deer any day. Bragging rights don't matter to me. I don't mount deer anymore. I cut the antlers off. And if I killed one like that, I'd cut those off too. I'm no longer spending $1000 for a dust collector. A single picture is enough for me.

As for the girl, I'm sure she's proud of it and I congratulate her for a great shot on a once in a lifetime buck. But let's be real, it's not coincidence or luck she's killed 3 studs back to back to back.

We aren't talking about a 13in bass. It's the equivalent of catching 3 seperate 10-15lb bass in the same lake ,on 3 casts. That shite ain't happening podnuh.

Maybe some people just have a habit of telling the truth?

Congrats to the young girl. I’ve seen many a grown man air ball on a 85” eight point from 75 yds with a 30-06. She got the job done

It’s the general principle, be a man and be happy for the kid. I’d let the squirrels eat them horns just to f with folks. had i kilt it. I don’t have the wallet nor the wall space to mount all these deerz.

Im glad it's her and I know she's excited. I'm happy for her. Anybody would love a deer like that. I'm just pointing out that her dad is leaving information out of that story.

You talking about fishermen and hunters?

All I’m saying is IF I or my kid shot a buck like that on public land and had shot big bucks there multiple years in a row(I assume they were big since he mentioned them), you could bet your last dollar it wasn’t the area that I told the news/whole state of Texas.

He better carry a couple spare tires if he was honest because the local hunters there are going to slash them every time they see his truck parked. Hell, that is if he could even find a parking spot now.

As far as if it was a high fence deer, if it was killed in a fence there will be Hell to pay for him because word will get out. If it escaped, who cares? I wouldn’t try to belittle it one bit. Now, if they try to put it in the record books, I would bet they do a DNA test to see if it was “Wild” or an escaped deer. If it was escaped, it might not be eligible for anything.

The Brewers were watching for a buck with a massive rack that the father had been trying to hunt for three years.

“I had him on camera coming out of his bed one time after it had rained,” Brewer said. “So we were at a spot we hoped he’d come out.”

Doesn’t sound like a recent escapee if it’s a pen deer.
