Lafayette is much better place to be. I would rather be there than BR anyday.

They are interviewing candidates to fill the positions on day one. You are really ill-informed. I know they are actively seeking out legit conservatives to hire to staff the new administration. These are the nameless/faceless people who make up the state government so this is a very good sign.

When Coach Blanco was running the state thru his wife, they were insufferable.

Well when he was running the state, there wasn’t a fanbase because he sat on the side like a bitch as the university President starved athletics fundraising and almost killed the programs.

So all the butthurt losers from ULL are going to run the state for the next 4 years. A second Blanco term.

You’re a complete idiot if that’s all you can come up with from this.

And I’m not really a Landry fan, but damn…

That’s not a big enough transition team and it’s not diverse enough,” Ryder said of Landry’s initial appointments.

Ryder publicly admits he’s a racist and sexist.

Landry’s win is a huge deal. He’s going to completely dismantle the woke/corrupt shadow government

I want this to be true. But this is more likely:

Publicity stunt is a stunt. The fact that he's still in LSU offices and had to tell us this is what he was doing is proof it's all a stunt.

Bingo. But look how effective it is.

Anyone knows who is on this transition team and how to contact them? One state agency is trying to run a scam before he takes office.

Landry’s transition team — expected to firm up the governor-elect’s policy agenda and help fill hundreds of positions for his incoming administration —

Does anyone else see this as a problem?

Would love to see Landry implement an across the board hiring freeze in state government except for new law enforcement and corrections officers.

The transition chairs will be Ralph Abraham, Lane Grigsby, Shane Guidry, Timothy Hardy, Steve Orlando, Eddie Rispone, and Sharon Landry. Kyle Ruckert will direct the transition team.

Landry is hiring conservatives to staff his new administration. That’s as specific as I can be. It’s a huge improvement over the woke democrats and corrupt democrats JBE hired.

Shane Guidry is your governor now. Congrats!

Anything is better than JBE, but Landry reminds me so much of Fast Eddie, everything will be “Good Ole Boy Politics”.

He’s very good friends with one of the most evil MF’ers I’ve ever known in life, and I’m talking slimeballs & they fit together too nicely. All of Baton Rouge will be his best friend network with campaign finance promises. Contracts to all his cronies, book it!

Let’s just hope that his social policies actually do something and we get common sense back in the education system.

The governor-elect has to select 15 cabinet members and fill literally hundreds of state government jobs and seats on various boards and commissions.

And this my friends is what is wrong with Louisiana state government. Too many damn hands in the pot.
