There was ONE Man

That walked the earth and told everyone what the deal was. Jesus steps out of heaven and tries to reason with the clergy of the day and gets rejected! They hang him on a cross and he still forgives them! They are still his people and no matter what the evil left thinks or says, Israel is still Gods people.
We gentiles were lucky that he grafted us in to the tree of Israel!!!!! Jesus is love, the devil is hate. You can clearly see the dividing lines in the world today. Choose this day who you will serve! Jesus loves you and all he asks for is a, YES, I believe in You! Love wins, hate always loses.

I do not know how you can look at Israel in this day and age, strictly based on what you are saying, and think they are holding up there end of the covenant, which according to God, is what makes them His chosen people. Your statement is a symptom of cherry picking scripture or just regurgitating what your preacher says.

I agree. To the person saying Jesus is an Avatar:
If believe that Jesus is God all my living days but in death I discover he's nothing more than an "avatar", I will have lost nothing.
But... If in death you discover Jesus is God, you will have lost eternity.
I'm not the most upright and moral person at times, but I do have faith, I know Him.

Do you not know how many times Jesus has rescued his people? After their sins? Time after time? He even dispersed them for 2000 years and then brought them back from all corners of the earth, as was prophesied, in 1948. I never said they were “holding up their end of the covenant” . I pray that Jesus gives you a spiritual understanding of scripture.

People break covenants all the time. God must keep His part and is not contingent upon one's not keeping it.
The Covenant of Reconciliation/Salvation is between God and Jesus - not mankind as with the other covenants- and has been imputed to us - to accept or reject.

Does it not say that he hath concluded all in unbelief. Jew and Gentile alike. A jew is not one outwardly but one inwardly. He that believes in God thru his only begotten Son Jesus Christ. Do you not remember where he said they(jews) stumbled at the stumbling stone(Jesus Christ). Just because they are born a natural Jew doesn't mean they are automatically saved. They must believe as well

There is spiritual Israel (Christian) and there is physical Israel (Gods chosen). On e is by physical birth, the other is by spiritual birth.

Christians are grafted onto the tree but Jewish non believers are broken off.
Christians, along with messianic jews are brances on the tree. So gentiles inherit the God's Promise to Abraham.
Do not be deceived. No one comes to the father
Except through Christ.

If anything, today's secular Israel is further from God than ever. And to say that we must support this Israel right or wrong is an abomination.
Jew or Gentile, you must believe in Jesus to be save. Jew or gentile.
There are not two paths only one.
God has plans for Israel. He will testify to Israel and demonstrate to the last Israelites that he is lord and they will convert and become saved.
But to-date that has not happened and we are to follow the commands of Christ in how we relate to all men, Jew and gentile alike.

Do we all agree on what is meant by "the people of Israel"? I feel like we don't.
