still don't understand why he didn't slide after making the INT. I can understand not knocking it down like normal, because it was such a horrid pass. But, the players have to know to take a knee or slide down in that situation.
Because he’s a kid playing a game and sometimes their instincts kick in from playing the game their whole lives and don’t do the robotic things the fans think they should. If he hadn't gotten hurt, nobody would question anything about the play

You don’t know that he’s lying, either
Considering who my employer is, I would in fact know if Zy tore his ACL, entered the building, or got an MRI.
So yeah, I do know he’s lying.

Yeah it sucks but it also tells you LSU needs to do a better job of getting the right players here to fill those spots quit taking chances on guys from smaller colleges or guys with attitudes.
So Zy Alexander wouldn’t have been injured if he weren’t a Southeastern transfer? I don’t understand. The “small college” guy was turning into one of our only reliable DBs.

The previous staff didnt leave much but the 2 years kelly has had to fill those spots he has not done a good job of bringing in top notch Talent. This is LSU we should never be this bad in the secondary especially with the talent in the state.
I don’t completely disagree with this but we had to field a team last year, which meant we had to go get a bunch of transfers to play DB. Would y’all have rather CBK completely punted on 2022 and not brought in any transfers? Just start freshmen in a transition year (which makes it tough to close out the HS class)?
This year we went and got a RS sophomore CB who started 5 games at Ohio State as a RS freshman. Out for the season due to a broken leg.
Our best returning DB (one of the transfers from last year) was diagnosed with brain cancer.
You get Duce Chestnut who said it was a “dream come true” and he “almost broke into tears” when he got the LSU offer.. who has clearly now had some sort of falling out or off-field issue.
You bring Denver Harris - our top CB target from the 2022 HS class - over but he’s a headcase.
You get an FCS standout in Zy Alexander but now he’s injured and apparently it looks bad.
You have Ashton Stamps who started to step up but got a groin injury.
At some point you’re just snakebit.

You’re right.
On offense, the team has been so healthy. QB, TE, WR, RB for the most part, Emery Jones was the first starting lineman to miss a game, I believe.
Linebackers have been pretty healthy, defensive line as well, besides Masson Smith to an extent.
Almost all of the injury issues have occurred at corner, and the best player has brain cancer, something tragic you may not see in decades.
The frustrating part is that Denver Harris and Duce Chestnut aren’t injured. It’s all self-inflicted.
I hope Stamps is healthy in 2 weeks.
He sounds like the one who could actually play against Bama. Hopefully we get some info from Brian Kelly soon.
