The House is about to hold a third round of voting in the House Speaker election.
Members are currently voting to establish quorum
Wednesday’s Round Two non-Jordan voters - how they voted:
Don Bacon (NE) - McCarthy
Vern Buchanan (FL) - Donalds
Ken Buck (CO) - Emmer
Lori Chavez-DeRemer (OR) - McCarthy
Anthony D'Esposito (NY) - Zeldin
Mario Díaz-Balart (FL) - Scalise
Jake Ellzey (TX) - Garcia
Drew Ferguson (GA) - Scalise
Andrew Garbarino (NY) - Zeldin
Carlos Giménez (FL) - McCarthy
Tony Gonzales (TX) - Scalise
Kay Granger (TX) - Scalise
John James (MI) - Miller
Mike Kelly (PA) - Boehner
Jennifer Kiggans (VA) - McCarthy
Nick LaLota (NY) - Zeldin
Michael Lawler (NY) - McCarthy
Mariannette Miller-Meeks (IA)
John Rutherford (FL) - Scalise
Michael Simpson (ID) - Scalise
Pete Stauber (MN) - Westerman
Steve Womack (AR) - Scalise
*Notes:
- It is expected Jordan will likely lose 10 addition votes in this round (approximately 30 no votes)
- Jordan has stated he will hold out, regardless (hoping lawmakers will eventually become fatigued)
- Rep. Victoria Spartz (IN) has told C-SPAN she’ll vote for Jordan in one more round, but not any rounds thereafter
- Derrick Van Orden (R-WI), a Jordan supporter, will not be in attendance; he’s on a “fact finding mission in Israel)
- A few House members are dressed casually, indicating they’re not taking seriously a threat to work over the weekend, or that they will not be in attendance if they are told to work

Hope Massie changes his vote since he bashed Jordan last night. If not his hypocrisy will show

What. A. Joke.
Give us our country back you greedy and worthless except for grifting fricks.

This is what we are fighting for (among other things), to control spending. McCarthy folded on the budget amd we got more waste. Jordon will help slow it down

Even if we get a speaker nothing will change within the caucus

If McCarthy is serious, he should call out the GOP dissenters instead.

This is bashing Jordan? Saying that he represents a threat to bloated government?
"No roll call has been as clarifying as the one for Jim Jordan as Speaker.
Why isn’t his election easy here?
Because his leadership represents a credible threat to the unchecked growth of our bloated federal government.”

Get Massie nominated then. He won’t be because he doesn’t do shite

Jordan won't be speaker, and even if he does, he will get nothing accomplished. Honestly, nothing that the new speaker will do would change had McCarthy been able to stay on or not. Gaetz was foolish to oust him. It makes the party look totally powerless. Mccarthy can't push votes on the floor when they don't even make it out of committees.

Massie is a compulsive contrarian who disguises it as "principles". Useless legislator, overall, though I do agree with him on many things
