It's an LP tradition, but you forgot to add Food Stamps, housing voucher, free cellphones, Prime discount, and tax returns.

Free daycare if you work even part time or go to school, free internet, free ipad with data, and some of the medicaids give them $230 a month too.

Why the hell would people work if they found a way to get all that?

You chose the career you are in not the tax payers who have to absorb the costs of welfare. You chose to work for an employer that doesn’t offer adequate insurance. You chose to have children you couldn’t afford, stop making excuses for your poor choices.

Gotta say I agree with this (but yeah, somebody else can foot the bill )

There are thousands of charges in the system, it would be way too much upkeep to have a separate fee schedule for every contract that you have as an organization. Keep in mind these contracts can change on a yearly basis.

I don’t buy that as the reason. If that is the reason, it’s a bad one. Plenty of private businesses manage similar situations with multiple, extensive price books. Most of the work can be automated using off-the-shelf tools that other businesses have been using for decades.

I mean think about it.. if the hospital doesn’t have all of those agreement rates in a system how the hell do they even know that they are getting paid the correct amount?

I’m convinced there has to be some reason other than “it’s too hard.” But I guess I wouldn’t be shocked considering how insular the healthcare industry is.

I would prefer a system where we got to keep our tax dollars but we had to help bury the “dead kids” that would’ve gotten Medicaid and gone to the er with a runny nose

Problem is it's impossible to take your child off of it. I've been telling them for almost 5 years to take my daughter off but for some reason they refuse. I think its a money scheme for the state.
