If ND fires Charlie, does Saban consider ND if called?

ND has a multi-billion dollar sports endowment. Show Saban the money and see what will happen. You think saban can not take ND sorry arse schedule and win 10 games. ND can lose two games and is still guaranteed a BCS bowl.

What does Saban make now, $4 million? If ND offers him $1 more, Saban is gone.

Maybe the next go around, after the next ND coach is fired in 3 or 4 years.

Recruiting is more difficult at ND because they made a decision not to waive academic standards. Saban will not go with that in place. He's at UA for a long time to come folks. Before you know it Bama fans with replace houndstooth hats with sansabelt pants.

I just find it kinda interesting that they are waiting 'til after the SEC Championship game to decide weiss' future.

All things considered probably not... equal stature program in most ways and no advantage I can see to it

If he stays at bama another year and then jumps he'll be the larry brown of football I guess tho

No, I dont think Saban is going anywhere. But if Weis goes Meyer would have to be at the top of ND's list. It would be awesome to get that douche out of the SEC. Still dont think it happens though.

It is time to face reality- Nicky is not going to leave Bama & will be there until he retires...

They're going to have to modify that decision to get Meyer, anyway. I believe that Meyer is probably their preferred choice. Having said that, Sexton is not going to let the vacancy at ND go by without at least getting an interview for his guy, to "assist" ND in their search. This will at least get Saban a 10 to 15% bump in his pay packet.
