I saw a bunch of alpha badasses on Phillies.. I saw a bunch of beta, entitled snowflakes on the Braves tonight
I’m a huge Braves fan but this is fricking pathetic.

At least we're not the Dodgers

In seven NLDS games against the Phillies over the past two seasons, the #Braves have hit a combined .187 (42-for-225) with 20 runs, 7 HR, 18 walks, 73 strikeouts, a .311 slugging percentage and .564 OPS.

Wonder if we see the same lineup from game 1 tonight. Hope not.

With Suarez pitching, Pillar is going to start. Murphy will likely be back catching.
Doesn't really matter what the lineup is if no one hits the ball.

The Game 1 lineup was a roaring success. Excited to possibly see it again as we whimper off into the distance.

Wait until Murphy demonstrates his intimidation tactics tonight! His intensity will make the Phillies fold like a dumpster beach umbrella. This team is one lit fuse away from erupting! And Murphy is the stick of TNT!

Anyone else think Snit will be eased into retiring in the next 1-2 years?

Gosh, I don’t know, it’s baseball, you know? Could be one, could be two, could more than than that, golly, it could be less than that. I just gotta keep comin to the ballpark eveyday and managin my butt off and it’ll be alright you know. But yeah, no, yeah, I dont know, maybe.

Hoping TdA stays in. He's one of the few we have that seems to meet the moment in these situations.

Pillar should start regardless of who is pitching. I'm tired of seeing Rosario's lazy arse in left field. He hits nowhere near good enough to make up for his defensive liabilities.

Whew boy, flipped on Sportscenter and it’s pretty brutal. They are just yucking it up laughing at Harper clowning Arcia (but they’be been sure to not show or mention the two throat slashes). If it’s me in the Braves clubhouse I’m cutting up these clips and playing them on a loop today. Need some players to play pissed off tonight.
I know the thread last night was all about shitting all over Arcia (and the rest of our players for that matter) (with fans like us who needs enemies right?) but they are stilll our team and I’d love to see them shut the Phillies and these media fricks up.
Arcia game winner. Do it Orlando.

That’s frighteningly accurate

Not upset about it as much as pissed. Want the Braves to be pissed about it too.
Kind of like Harper getting pissed with someone saying “atta boy” - lol

This
Is more relevant than this
We struggle when the pitching ramps up. Our pitching isn't good enough to overcome the drop off in offense.
Even our good pitchers aren't used to pitching in close games because the offense is so good. When you're up 5 runs by the third inning in most of your starts you can throw strikes and not care if you give up a solo shot, while in the playoffs that could be a dagger.
Not to rehash this stuff but I think it does matter: we let our clubhouse leader walk two years in a row, and depending on your view on Max as a leader in the clubhouse we are likely about to make that 3 times in 4 years soon. There's a cost there.
