Whether he leaves voluntarily or involuntarily, what is your gut telling you? I'm thinking 2 more seasons (2009 and 2010).

This is not a "Miles should be fired" thread. I hope he stays.

He's here for the long haul in my opinion. It was a down year. We lost a lot of talent, yes we have some excuses as well, but Les Miles will get the Tiger Fans respect back soon!

Another 5 loss season next year and he's gone.

2 at best. He will do better next year and then bail out.

It all hinges on this year. This is the year we find out what he's made of. If he makes the right coaching changes, then he's here a long time. If he doesn't, then I think he's got 2 years max.

FYI, I think he makes these changes. There is too much at stake.

I agree Gruff. I think he will end up leaving here. Its likely Rich Rod will burn his bridges in Michigan fairly quickly and I believe Les will be numero uno on their list. I think he was already gone last year before the Herbstreit story came out.

But's 55, not old but not extremely young either. He's not going to be here for 20 years or anything.

I'll say if he doesn't get run, he is here for another five years.

If RR bombs at UM, 1-2. If he doesn't, then 2-4. I think he will either go to UM or ND or to the pros.

Heard this sentence repeatedly in 2005, 2006 & 2007. So far every year has been "The year".

Other than if the UM job comes open again, I really don't consider him likely to leave voluntarily. I do not think he's a pro coaching prospect. I see no reason in the world why he would go to ND. frick, I think ND is in danger of becoming a place that has a hard time finding coaches and ends up looking to hire experiments.

He's already been a position coach in the No fun League.

If taking bets, 2 is the perfect over/under # for the house.

The experiment's name was Charlie Weiss.

We all know being a tight ends coach under Barry Switzer equals NFL teams beating a path to your door to take over their squad.

If he is only here for 2 or less years, I will be a happy man.
