Mizzou is 5-0 with one score wins over Middle Tennessee (4 pts), Kansas State (3 pts), and Memphis (7 pts).

The most talented teams they have played this year are Vanderbilt and KSU.

LSU has already played a good FSU team and a stellar Ole Miss offense.

If somehow, someway, our DBs can contain Luther Burden, we can easily win this game with our offense.

The reality that we’re hoping our defense puts out a below average showing to beat Mizzou…..

Shows us how far we really have fallen.

You cannot improve a secondary in a week, we have to get more of a push up front and blitz like hell. I'm sure they will take a lot from the LSU VS OM film and exploit it. LSU will be better to run the F out of the ball and keep them off the field.

No, they are not.

Luther burden will have 150+ yards receiving on us.

Mizzou is going to torch our secondary. Cook is by far the best passer LSU will face this year.

He has the record for consecutive pass attempts without an int at around 326 or so. Their receivers are Jarvis Landry good.

Unfortunately, this seems like the worst opponent to come along. LSU is reeling and now has to go against the #7 passing offense in the country. It's a recipe for quitting.

I'm most interested to see what type of effort LSU brings on Saturday. This is a tough spot.

why hasn’t Missouri scores 40 points in a game?

with the best passer we’ll see all year and a pretty soft schedule.

They’ve scored in the 30’s in all but one game.

As to the qb, go watch some film on him and imagine LSU on the other side.

Why haven’t they scored in the 40’s?
They haven’t played LSU yet.

Btw, this will be a blackout game for their fans.

Eh whatever man. Play defense like we did against ole miss and we’re going to get fricking smoked. Absolutely whipped.

What's upsetting is that we have to make an argument that we're better than Missouri rather than just simply knowing that we're better than Missouri. Someone please get me some alcohol.

Do you think Florida will beat Vandy this weekend? Vandy has some hustle.

LSU has to bracket Burton. I know they'll get some yardage with other guys, but you can't let that kid get going. They have a decent RB too, so that is going to be another thing to look for.

LSU can score at will on Mizzu. I looked at the numbers prior to this past weekend's games, and Mizzu had a worse pass defense than LSU, Ole Miss, and Vanderbilt. Vandy was without their starting QB vs Mizzu, but if they weren't, it would have been a shootout.

I see this as being another shootout, but I don't see Mizzu's offense being anywhere near as good as Ole Miss.

South Dakota
Middle Tennessee State
Kansas State
Memphis
Vanderbilt

Every SEC team other than Vandy would be 5-0 and putting up big numbers.
Missouri will likely be 5-7 at the end of the season.
After last weeks dismal showing, we are 6.5 point favorite on the road.

I feel very confident.
