I paid it all off shite for brains, but if the balance was deemed forgiven automatically (as was being proposed) why for the love of frick would I willingly write a check to the fricking US government for $3,100 so i can feel honorable? They’d probably have refund it anyway. Do you also overpay your car mechanic if you think he undercharged you? FFS.
