That we just finished a season that ranks us the WORST defending National Champion on record?

It's possible, guys and I hope to god Les has the BALLS to make major changes to his staff and adapt to the talent he has on his team in 09.

No it's not-bullshite. It's an honest and obvious opinion. So take it or leave it...I think if you reflect on past years, the comment is true.

So what! I would rather be able to say that than the other alternative (not having won a NC in the first place).

Penn State finished 8-4 and out of the top 25 in '87 after winning the NC in '86.

I can't think of another team that finished out of the top 25 the year after winning a NC.

None other than USC in 75 had a losing conference record the year after a NC. So what. Does a bad year mean that LSU did NOT win the NC last year?

BAMA won NC in 92 with a 13-0 record. In 93 they were 1-12!

Had to forfeit all the regular season games they won that year.

No NC lost five games the following season. Well, none until we did.

Yes.

That's one of those statistics that I just don't care about. We are also the only team to have two losses at the time of winning the NC in history. BFD.
