Franklinton didn't even play in a jamboree. It was scheduled to be held at FHS, but a tragic death of a student led to the cancellation of the jamboree. They scrimmaged Independence a few weeks ago, but that's all the action they've had other than practice.

I was having a discussion with a Bama fan and wanted to show her the picture. Some of you need to lighten up.
Pass interference picture in Bama game

Will somebody post the picture of our Tight End being interfered with on the 2-point conversion in the Bama game?

I think they're about 5th in Class 4A.

TyTy vs Bogalusa. Passing stats - 4 of 7 for 4 TDs. FHS didn't need to throw much.

I don't think SEC road games have video.

I graduated from BG in '83 and still live in Franklinton. You're right. Not much has changed. I really like your dog's name.

I thought about Magnolia and call her Maggie, but I have a close friend whose dog is named Maggie.
A couple I thought of are Roux and Cayenne (call her Annie). Tobasco might work, but I can't figure out how to shorten it to a female name.
Nothing's jumped out at me yet though. Keep the names coming. Thanks!

LSU name for a puppy
Posted by MileBranchTiger on 3/8/09 at 2:48 pm
I’m getting a female yellow lab puppy in about a week. I’m trying to think of a good name for her that has something to do with LSU. It could also be Louisiana, Saints, something Cajun or something that represents the area. The puppy is a female. Can anybody think of some good names I could use for her name? Thanks.

I like it. Try watching the "Gameday Xtra-Opener at the Box". It's free but you can see the quality. I've watched several baseball games on GZ this season with no problems.

I think there's less room for foul balls once you get past 1st and 3rd base.

That will be a mess. Might be worse than a football game, especially the first time it happens.

Kudos to the concession stands for offering a few different items.
The had pork sandwiches and brisket sandwiches, plus a few other things. They were out of pork sandwiches before the opening ceremonies though. I'll give them time to get used to the new stadium and not gripe about it though.

I sat within a few feet of the K Lady in the old Box. She didn't yell to get the crowd into a game like Chris. She only held up her fingers to match the number of Ks.
re: Does anyone know if there is a path between the new AB

I think there's a sidewalk that goes down Nicholson from the old Box to the new Box, but somebody else should verify that.

re: watching baseball on geaux zone

Crowds haven't been that big on midweek games unless it's a Tulane or ULL game. This is a new year, new stadium and highly ranked team though, so the crowds should be bigger.

All home games have been shown the last few years.
re: watching baseball on geaux zone

The quality is OK. They only use one camera and it's behind homeplate. You do miss some action because of the single camera and they don't have replays, but it's not terrible and I've watched baseball games on it for a couple years when I wasn't there. It's better than nothing.
