“There’s no tracing [Xbox 360 chat],” the analyst allegedly told his friend who was worried they might be discovered. He appears to have made a grave miscalculation.

We live in such an extreme police state. All of our communications are being policed and tracked and used against us

The best way to communicate now days is probably to write an actually letter. At least after you read it, you can burn it and there won’t be any traces left. Crazy to think about it that way based on all the crime movies we grew up watching.

I'm honestly surprised this doesn't happen more. This guy was 23 years old when he did this, fresh out of college. You'd be surprised at the amount of information a financial company makes available to college graduates that still need help selecting the right health insurance.

Unless its private key encrypted and you control both sides of the connection, its not secure.

This is exactly why all of my secret communications are done using Minecraft blocks to spell out messages in Morse Code.
