Why do we want a road SEC kickoff at night?

Night games aren't a desired thing everywhere

You're the one who's theory is "omgggg nooooo we can't play big bad Missouri at night. It's such a disadvantage to play them at night. 100% better chance they beat us at night. You're a moron if you want to play a night game"

4-11 in home SEC night games. Ain't skeered of em.

Incorrect. I am telling you that it is a well known fact that stadiums are louder at night and thus more difficult for the opposing team. You just want to watch the game at night, you can admit it.

If Aggy loses to Arkansas and Kentucky struggles with Florida, LSU vs Mizzou might be your only ranked matchup that week since they play Vandy. I wonder if they want to throw Mizzou a 2:30 bone. This might have a CBS 6 day flex written all over it.

more preparation time for a morning away game. Starkville isn't that bad because it's half the distance of Columbia.

It’s no different at all. They are still leaving Friday just like they did for Mississippi State. By Friday you are done with preparation. It’s a quick walkthrough get on the bus and travel.

Doesn't appear to be the case at Missouri

I want to watch the game at night and I don't think playing at night is an added advantage for Missouri.

Forgot to mention that the noon kick off for the last Red River Showdown in the Big XII is happening this same weekend. I'm not sure ESPN puts LSU up against that time slot.

I am pretty sure LSU won't have 15K fans in Columbia even if we beat OMiss. We did sell our 5K allotment so HOPEFULLY we will have at least that many. I am guessing 6K LSU fans in that stadium providing we beat OMiss. Lose to OM and it'll be more like 3500.

My wife and I will be there regardless. Hoping for an 11am kickoff which limits the home crowd coming from all over a big state.

I thought the away SEC allotment was strictly 2,000 in a lower level stadium section?

Think we'll have closer to 7-8k there. Everyone I know who's going bought tickets through the secondary market since LSU's allotment was already sold out.

There will be plenty of LSU folks (me included) who bought from the secondary market.

Yeah we bought club level seats in the endzone through the secondary market.
