Him going out and Jameis coming in really shows how much a leader on the field matters even if he is struggling sometimes passing.

The question none of Saints Talk has wanted to answer since we signed him.

NFL mediocrity is certainly great for most of us.

Carr is a great human! Nothing against the guy. But he was a terrible hire for the saints.

I mean he is the same as Dennis Allen. Safe...

They won't be bad enough for a good draft pick, will be good enough to be in the middle of the pack.

Literal purgatory.

Well he was 2-0 and had a 17 pt lead getting to 3-0. He’s come up clutch in all our games so far. He does enough to win with our talent. I don’t think he’s great but he is a good QB. With even just a solid playing Oline he could have done even better. He won’t throw for 4-5,000 yards like Brees but we can do well with him. If you are expecting him to be prime Brees I don’t know what to tell you

Who who complain about car just don't understand what they're looking at when they watch a football game. The relationship of how one thing affects another. The abysmal play of the offensive line in pedestrian play calling all while not having your pro bowl running back impact your ability to do your job.. This isn't freaking baseball. You can't just walk up to the plate and mash the ball irrespective of the offensive abilities of the rest of your team. The most of you watch the game with your eyes laser beamed on the quarterback and are oblivious to anything that happened pre-snap or post nap. Keep blaming every damn thing that goes wrong on the quarterback. But go scream in your mirror instead of making us read your stupid arse nonsense

7 points were from a run back, but I do agree his leadership was worth something.

The injury is part of the process for his destiny as Brees 2.0.

A minshew/baker equivalent for way less guaranteed money. Draft somebody. Think of all the young QBs we’ve missed out on since the washed Brees years. Stop with the “sloppy seconds” QBs of the NFL: Jameis, Dalton, Carr

Same reason the Raiders fired Randy Moss and then he went on to break the nfl record for rec touchdowns.
