You know what's really funny?

Through 2 games their numbers were nearly identical. Carr played just like jameis's first two games last year.

That’s fricking play calling

For all of Winston’s faults, he can throw deep yet we don’t even try

Which is why I said:

An already conservative HC and OC feel they have to limit the opportunities for Jameis to frick up.

What offense were you watching?

Winston had 5 INTs through 2 games last year.

5.

The Carr vs. Winston debate is fun in the grand scheme of things.

Debating who the ship captain should be when there are massive holes (o-line and Carmichael) in the fricking boat.

Jameis wasn’t the issue today

he is the issue every time he is on the field

always throwing those 3rd down passes 5 yards short of first down, with the ball 6" of the ground, so the receiver cant catch it without diving to the ground just to have a chance to catch it, to be absolutely sure they never get the first down. that is why we kept punting.

im not saying he does it on purpose, most likely just scared to throw a pick, but it is a serious issue if the QB cant throw catchable balls to guys still on their feet after catching it.

Agreed. But lets be honest Winston was benched last year and was a backup this year for a reason.

Yes, I agree Carr is clearly better than Winston. It's just funny to even waste time on the argument when the OC and o-line are season-killing garbage.

I prefer Taysom Hill. Carr isn't the answer and never was.

Are you high?

He had 3 tds and 3 picks after two games last year.

Carr had one td and 2 picks after two games this year

Their comp % was similar

Qb rating similar.

Just stop trying to lie so much man. It's a bad look for someone trying to appear smart.

If a backup QB (that arrives middle of the game) gets you into position where you need a medium difficulty NFL field goal to win - and you don’t make that kick - then it’s the kickers fault. Period.

I don’t like Jameis but he made some good throws. He’s a backup QB for a reason.

Why can’t they run the ball at all? Why does the O Line suck arse? Why can’t the kicker make an average NFL field goal?

Right. The 5 picks were games 2 and 3. I guess we’re just going to gloss over the fact that all 3 of those picks came in a loss to the Panthers though.

My bad, I couldn’t remember when he turned into complete shite.

You’re the most intellectually dishonest person on this board when it comes to Winston. Nothing has ever been his fault.

You want to compare two games of Winston and Carr when the reality is he had 1 good QUARTER against the Falcons and then followed it up with a 3 INT loss, at home.

Get the frick out of here.

The bucs, again, stop doing drugs and posting.

The defense absolutely bailed Carr out the first two games this year. Hence the comparison to Winston.

Why does our coach not go for first down and the TD, instead if being conservative and taking the gamble a rookie kicker will make a 46 yard fg on the road??? Play to win, not to lose. Hus conservative play calling was the same issue last year.

This is what happens when you have a good defense and don’t throw multiple picks in a game.
