Does anyone know why we did not recruit him at LSU? 6'4" 259 4 star on Rivals. Played tonight against OSU for OU. RS Freshman Is he related to Rufus Alexander? I'm assuming he is.

It's only Germans if the questioned has been answered in the previous threads. No thread addresses why we did not recruit him and doesn't answer if he is related to Rufus. If I do a search and it doesn't come up so be it. I'm asking the question.

We offered Sidell Corely instead of Alexander or Jason Peters from Catholic.

No he is not related to Rufus.

Thanks, hopefully Corely will develop because Frank Alexander looks like the real deal.

Funny thing is ... Alexander was considered a better basketball player out of high school. I think he chose wisely to play football.

To be fair, Frank Alexander would be sitting the bench at LSU the same as Sidell Corley and Chancey Aghayere are right now. Alexander's doing well at OU, but he's in because of a lack of real depth at the DE position. He would be sitting the bench at LSU behind Tyson Jackson, Kirston Pittman, Rahim Alem, Tremaine Johnson, and Pep Levingston.

speaking of local boys we should have signed-

Laron Byrd of Hahnville last year. He was LSU all the way, and we went with others- like Molton. Byrd will play on Sundays before long.

No relation. Rufus Alexander was from Opelousas and transfered from Westminster Christian to play his senior year at Christian Life.
