What if he catches the ball? Is it ok to hit him then? Ol boy had no idea if he was gonna catch it or not but wasnt gonna just give it to him. Thats not a dirty hit

He didn’t. And the ball had already bounced off the ground a full second before the hit.

It was dirty.

This is insanely stupid. He wasn’t even looking at the ball, which was 5 yards out of bounds, and hit him well after the ball hit the ground. Extremely cheap and dirty play.

The ball had hit the ground by the time the hit happened and Hunter pulled up.

That kind of hit is why the "defenseless player" rules exist.

Agree, with other player was blocking his view at the critical time and he could not see what had happened.
