Not mad at this but have you tried sloppy Boudreaux?

Sloppy joe, slop sloppy joe........!
Love that sandwich but no condiments for me. Just meat and a toasted bun. Like the doritos though.

Love Sloppy Boudreaux but also like to add a little Jack Millers to it with the diced onions.

It's probably the same thing, but I have always done taco seasoning and a can of diced tomatoes (H-E-B version of Rotel, usually) or some tomato paste. One pound of beef makes four lunches, with crushed tortilla chips. Protein. Yay.

Haven't had one of those in quite a while.

i had a relative stay with me during katrina. she would make sloppy joes once a week. it tickled that nostalgia sensor in my brain of the shitty (and awesome) sloppy joes from school cafeteria. i kept asking her what the secret was and she said she would tell me one day.
Just before she packed up and left she divulged it was Manwich. i had never had it before.

I’ll have to try some of the other variations. The regular Manwich is too thin. I prefer the dry mix that you add tomato paste to.
