Did Speights lose his spot last night ?

We looked much better with Weeks in. He was more disruptive and faster. Of course it was Grambling, but Jefferson on line Weeks at LB seemed to make a difference

Speights pulled up with a hammy after get out run by an hbcu RB. He stayed in for the next play but was out for the game after that.

West Weeks looked steady and took care of business.
Whit Weeks legitimately looks like he’s ready to be in the league. 6’2 220 and runs like a gazelle. He needs to be on the field.

it’s hard to say how good anyone looks vs Grambling but you can compare how our players look agains grmabling.
Speights looked rough. The Weeks Brothers looked good.

Speights was hurt. Was limping on field. Left game and came back with no pads

Speights was in street clothes in the 2nd half. He tweaked something.

The linebacker play has been very poor so far. Very disappointing.

Speights has been a huge disappointment. He has been nothing short of slow, plodding, and cumbersome both games. I thought he was going to be a stonewall in the middle but he looks like a portal bust. If they're going to trot him out there they're better off using what they already have. He's not an upgrade over what we already put out there last year.
