I have never hit Nippon shafts before.

Can anyone share how they are compared to DGS or Project X.

I have heard that they feel smoother ?

P play PX 6.Os and I tried a Modus. I didn’t like it. Everything went sky high and I felt like I had to wait on the shaft.

lighter shaft, great quality, for me the shaft is pretty stiff near the tip but not overly so. think DG are stiffer at tip

I've been playing Modus 130s for the last 2 1/2 years. Heavier shaft with a higher ball flight. Recently switched to Modus 120s, which are about 10 grams lighter and feature a slightly lower ball flight. They feel great.

I don't get along with really light steel shafts, so no idea how the 105s are.

My days of play X Stiff shafts are over.

A 5.5 shafts fits me well these days. I hit every high anyway.

I played different KBS shafts for years and went Nippon Modus....Much better, wished I'd switched earlier.

Srixon, Mizuno and Nippon are where it is at. Japanese golf equipment is legit

I agree on Japanese equipment.

The Japanese Ping Rapture iron were insanely good.

The Metal Factory fairway woods were just as good.

The Modus feel very smooth, x feels stiff, stiff feels regular so on. I also dig the KBS Tour Lite I got fit into this year.

Waiting on a set of irons with these, coming from Modus 120. Compared to 120 the 105 launch higher and spin a bit more, ( more tip flex) but are not excessively spinny. They have a great feel, lively but stable. EI not too different from DG but to me way better feel.
If you felt the Aerotech to be boardy, these won’t be.

Now the bad:
Been waiting on my clubs for a month because they can’t get the 105s. Lol.

I mic preferred he 120 line.

The 105 felt inconsistent in loading. Both stiff profiles

Tigers irons for along time were forged in Japan. There’s a documentary on YouTube where they all but say it out loud while touring the factory.
I’ll see if I can find it. I can’t remember which company was making them off the top of my head.

Yea, I play 120x and I'm not a X player in other shafts.

Modus 120 in x is a stiff comparatively, but I read Modus 130 X is a straight telephone pole.
