We came across some travel credits from the Covid years that we didn't think were ours - booked by another person in our name - but they are right there in the United account. About $650 each for 2 tickets, but they have to be used by 12/31/2023 (travel by that date).

Any ideas for a fun trip from BR - can't be more than a few days due to time off and kids activities...?

Fly to Denver and let the kids experience the cold and see the mountains. Or fly to the northeast and see fall colors.

Start by looking at direct flights from BR in your price range. Let that decide.

Do they need to be booked or flown by 12/31/2023? United extended so many things since 2020, I wouldn't be surprised if they wouldn't agree to extend it to the end of spring next year if you asked.

Fly by, not book by.

I may ask to extend to cover flights for Mardi Gras week vacation.

That said, I will look at direct flights from BR…wait, I already did - Houston.

I’ll check NO too and see what’s not going to take up a whole travel day.

Thw first thing that would pop in my head would be a sporting event or concert I might want to attend that wouldn't normally make sense.

If that didnt work I would look for somewhere that's centrally located and has the types of things I am looking for.

Hiking - fly into Denver and stay in Boulder, maybe catch a show at Red Rocks

History - Boston and catch a Sox game

Relaztion - Hilton Head, Sc
