LSU will go 10 and 2. If Harris can play, maybe 11-1. Next year will be LSU's year. Kelly is a CEO...He will ultimately make LSU a contending playoff team every year... But, he needs HIS recruits to start playing. Year 3 will show. Norwell is at year 4 with FSU and it shows. FSU will be the toughest team LSU plays all year....And to play them first is VERY TOUGH...

Perkins was supposed to be our best player, but we managed to neutralize him. Smith has a lot of potential, but he hasn't had a chance to make an impact like Perkins did last year due to injuries. We'll see when he plays for a significant period of time what he can do.

FSU is a very good team and I do think LSU will rebound just fine, but the poor coaching decisions surprised me.

Your best player did not play…the correct position.

From his playing experience, how can you know if Smith is even the best DLineman on this team?

A week ago Harold Perkins was the best player.

Now a guy who hasn’t played in over a year is the best player?

Who will it be next week?

Who admitted after the game he had no idea how unprepared his team was

What kind of CEO is that?

I don’t know if they’ll be fine but the feeling felt similar to last year. Preseason expectations a too high. Brought down to earth then claw back and finish the year with a strong record. Think maybe a little prospective would come after the Miss St game to get a better idea.

The sample to pull from does look very sour right now. It’s one game maybe wait until 3-4 are under the belt to call it either way. I think most of this come down to coaching which should bounce back well.

FSU played better!! Get over it. It happens. LSU is set for the rest of the year. Maason Smith will make the defense that much better. There is a reason he was a 5-star.....

Would probably help a lot if we actually gave some real experience to the guy that’s going to be leading us next year instead of stubbornly sticking with a guy that’s obviously not going to win us a title

THEY QUIT ON THEIR frickING TEAM....They lost to a really good FSU team, I get that. BK said this team is in better shape that at ANY point last year...I'm not sure we're better than when we had 39 scholarship players. Down vote away, I know, the truth hurts.

I’ve come back down to earth and realized that LSU will be ok. Tough game against a tough team and we had a lot of mental breakdowns. BUT, Florida State has “the look”. They legit played and looked like a NC caliber team. Not to mention LSU missed on some key opportunities early on and didn’t make plays when they needed to (Lacy’s drop…had no one behind him). Factor that, not punching it in early, and the 4th and short while in FG range. Potential 17-21 pt swing.

How did Kelly coach this team all off season and shite the bed in all facets of the game, yet he gets all of this praise? He may be a good coach but I haven’t seen anything past or present that says he is elite. His recruiting alone is subpar.

More wailing and gnashing of teeth over BK and LSU football. Jesus, I'd love to follow some of you pussies around and watch how you deal with adversity in your personal life.

This is my problem. HIS recruits need to see the field. The young guys have size and talent but they need to be out there taking their lumps. They will grow physically over time but they need to be out there learning. Patching positions with 1 year rentals who also dont know the system only to have to send inexperienced player back out again next year isnt the key. Take our lumps and develop the long, term program guys

This is one of the issues. He is NOT recruiting even close to LSU standards and he’s whiffing in the transfer portal. So how will this magically improve by next year?

That’s quality sunshine pumping there. LSU’s roster is made up of questionable or nonexistent talent. I don’t see any of the guys that played Sunday being starters at Alabama, Georgia or Florida State. That’s the problem. Until we get better players, we will not compete with the big boys.
