Any of those guys dominate us and decide the game? Or are we just naming names?

I didn't hear what he said, but being young should not be an excuse in college football.

All of those guys started and contributed in our beat down, yes.
-Bell was the guy that scored the last two tds
-Roddick starting left guard
-Byers starting right tackle
-Fiske starting DT that blew up Turner all night (this one sucks bc we were hard after him out the portal)
-Cypress starting corner who was on Nabers or BTJ most the night (we also tried to get him out the portal)

Not the only "play on words" from CBK this week.

I know who they are, but I’m digressing from my point.

What Kelly said, because I actually listened and I’m not disingenuous like pirate fig, is that almost half his roster was in its first LSU game. Obviously that extends to much more than the 22 listed starters. And he believes there wasn’t a good enough mindset, or however you want to describe it. I believe him because outside of Jefferson and Swinson, no one else was even that noticeable.

I agree with you. I knew what he meant; he probably should’ve phrased it a little better without adding the qualifier. Sort of opened himself up for the counterpoint.

Well that got personal real quick. How is it apples to oranges? I'm not comparing the lineage of LSU to Colorado. Kelly intimated that some of the surprises from his own team, to the negative, could have been the fact that half of them were new starters for LSU. Just saying with the portal this is very common, and most teams are navigating the exact same circumstance. Because Colorado brought in over 80 new players at almost 100% new starters, I thought that was a PRIME example.

See what I did there.

Regardless of how many freshmen, transfers, and inexperienced players LSU has, Brian Kelly is paid 10 million a year to put a better product on the field than he did against FSU.

Cry me a river! Ha.

Do your job, Coach.

1) You are the one that claimed 50% of starters were playing in their first game for LSU, not us.
2) He listed several players that helped dominate us that were transfers.
3) Having transfers isn’t an excuse for playing like shite, as proven by FSU, who beat us by 3 touchdowns.

That press conference yesterday was a vintage Les Miles. Just saying anything and expecting us to believe it.
