Bluetooth is only going to be helpful with the cordless tools.

Otherwise, with corded tools, any vac with “auto tool” function will work… festool, mirka, Bosch, and a slew of others- it’s not proprietary to festool

I have a festool CT15 that has that feature and it’s very nice to have.

You can also get the bluetooth "remote" so that you can disconnect the hose from the tool and quickly vacuum an area. You don't have to walk back to the vac to turn it on. Just have the on button strapped to the end of the hose. That is all I use it for on my CT Midi.

All my tools are corded though. Just plugged into the vacuum to trigger it on when the tool is on. Doesn't matter if it's a Festool saw. I highly recommend the vacuum systems set up with the automatic turn on feature. Or you can buy the box to convert one.

The track saw is great on it's own. But I pulled out the circular saw for the first time in a long time to break down some rough lumber. The amount of sawdust created in a few crosscuts was more than my track saw left on my floor in the last year.

Don't even need a vac like that. I use smart plugs with my shop-vac, does the same function.
