NFL teams of the 1990s that would've won a Super Bowl if they had an above average QB?

I'm thinking of 1991 Saints.

Chiefs in mid-to-late ‘90s post-Joe Montana

I can’t remember yesterday and you want me to remember good teams 30 years ago that needed a QB?

Hebert wasn't all that bad. The problem was you had OC Carl Smith punting or kicking a field goal on every 4th & short. His play calling killed the offense.

Miami couldn't win one and they had Joe Montana's goat

1990: Giants did win it with a pretty average QB in Hostetler. Probably the third best team in the NFL that year behind 49ers and Bills.
1991: No one beating Redskins.
1992: No one beating Dallas or SF.
1993: Same.
1994: Same.
1995: Pittsburgh could have beaten Dallas with good QB play.
1996: Only way GB *maybe* doesn’t win it is if they had had to go play Dallas at Texas Stadium for about the 10th time on a row.
1997: Denver or GB.
1998: Should have been an iconic SB between Denver and Minnesota. Both had good QB’s already.
1999: Rams, Titans, and Jax all had good QB’s. Bucs didn’t, though,
All told, I’m going 1995 Pittsburgh and 1999 Bucs with the best chance.

There was nothing wrong with Bobby Hebert. He was a bomber at NW state and the USFL. The problem was he didn't any explosive Wr's and his OC was Carl Smith.

2006 Bears beat the Colts if Rex could do anything.

The bucs would of won at least 1 maybe 2.
We had 4 guys(Sapp, Brooks, Lynch, Barber) currently in the hall of fame on defense for the second half of the 90's. Also Hardy Nickerson had his best years for Tampa that defense was fricking loaded. Shaun King would of taken us to the super bowl without the robbery.

Don't think they could have beaten the 91 Redskins though even if they had a better QB. 91 Redskins were just on another level. In watching the four falls of Buffalo 30 for 30, Don Beebe was just in awe of how good that 91 Redskins team was. Zero weaknesses.

I'd go with 1990 Saints, if you pick a Saints team. They actually beat the 49ers late in the regular season with Steve Walsh as the QB.
