I don't know how I haven't brought this here before. Really just never made the connection, but I'm a huge Cosmo Sheldrake fan, and he has a song that has a ton of potential for this franchise:

Seriously, it has strong New Orleans jazz influences. It's begging for that Nola brass treatment. Hell, you could bounce it up just a bit, fill it out with more horns and you have yourselves a fricking theme song.

I gave the OP its one like. It deserved the like for the effort.
But the song is about pelicans on the bank of the Nile River in Africa. It would need new lyrics, because it really doesn't sound like Louisiana.

I could rework those lyrics to be Nola-themed in about 15 minutes. Again, bounce it up (add VOR's beat) and add a bunch of brass embellishment to the subtle tuba. I need to reach out to Manny Fresh.
