With the hot days, I have been sweating profusely between work, the gym and house chores. As a result, I an prone to really bad athlete’s foot. Generally I change socks often enough and powder my feet so that does not happen, but sometimes I can’t, and I get an absolutely raging case. What are the best treatments for it?

Tolnaftate used to work pretty good for me.

You may have to go as far as throwing out the shoes that you have a case of it with. The fungus is in those shoes now.

Over the counter Lotrimin cream is where’d I’d start. Powders are a good second option.

Blue Star Ointment

Before bed:

Wash feet.
Slather ointment on.
Clean socks.
Embrace the slight burn.

Only thing that ever worked for me as a teenager. Gone overnight. Had tried everything before. Grandmother had some at her house.

Also cures jock itch, but at a burning price.

Hair dryer. Shower then blast them with the hottest setting you can stand, for as long as you can stand it. Get them as dry as humanly possible, then apply lotrimin liberally. Repeat every night; should only take a couple of days.

I spray my feet with tinactin after my shower and drying each morning, and also the inside of my workout shoes. I haven’t had athlete’s foot, since.

You spray your feet everyday?

Man just take your socks off when you get home.
