There are 5 baseball playing JUCOs in Louisiana. We really only recruit two of them. BRCC building itself up to the level of Delgado and LSUE would be good for LSU.

I’ve wondered if the transfer portal will negatively impact juco recruitment.

This is such a good thing in the age of NIL. Paul is still close to the program, and being able to have prospects attend BRCC while they get grades up or just need a year or two of development while having a connection to our program is a win/win.

Is Dupuy still there? Or did he retire?

He’s not. Coach Sim is there. His dad is the head coach at West Monroe. Good baseball family.

Would be cool to turn local small schools into a minor system for LSU.

Basically another LSUe or Delgado

Until BRCC can win the in-state recruiting battles vs. LSU Eunice and Delgado, they will remain at least third fiddle and playing from behind.

I mean ok?

More feeders doesn't hurt. Stop with a famine mentality. There's a bunch of badass local Louisiana ball players that develop a little later that would love to wear P&G.
