I used two Lyfts in the last two weeks, and they were fine. Both cost me less than $15 with tip included.

Venture capitalists have all cashed out and have quit funding Uber and Lyft which allowed them to operate at a loss and offer cheap rides
All gig worker fields like Uber and Lyft are finally coming back to reality

VRBO and AirBnB are also worthless now.
Find a condo for $400 a night, then they tack on a $300 cleaning fee, $150 processing fee, etc.

You don't have any fans that would bring you?

I wouldn't say worthless, but yeah for airport trips, they aren't worth using it seems.
But I have a long memory of taxi drivers and how they acted in the Nola area before Ubers came along, so screw them.
And they still drive like idiots.

You riding from San Francisco to LAX in an Uber Elite XL Prime+ baw?

When it comes to airport rides, your taxes pay to keep taxi fares low. It’s the gov picking winners and spending your money doing it. You can also thank taxi unions.

Same thing is happening to Air BnB right now. They're more expensive than hotels for what you get and alot of them charge outrageous cleaning fees (and still ask you to clean).

My 4 Uber drivers on my most recent business trip to Florida:
- 2 didn’t speak English or talk to us at all
- 1 was a teacher
-1 was a bodyguard for a politician in New York
No idea why they feel the need to explain themselves haha

America. Let there be competition
Posted on 8/23/23 at 2:18 pm to Cosmo
That’s lots like the trucking industry.
They are moving into spots and taking over areas of service within those industries
