“In many cases, I probably identify more as Democrat,” Trump told CNN’s Wolf Blitzer in a 2004 interview. “It just seems that the economy does better under the Democrats than the Republicans. Now, it shouldn’t be that way. But if you go back, I mean it just seems that the economy does better under the Democrats. …But certainly we had some very good economies under Democrats, as well as Republicans. But we’ve had some pretty bad disaster under the Republicans.”

He was a Democrat in his 60s.

The economic impact follows strategic decisions mostly, not immediately generally with the exception of a “Magic Wand or Something”. People realize both the gains and losses following those decisions. Bushes economic struggles followed horrific decisions done in financial markets of Clinton’s era.

The people on here trying to pass him off as some kind of bastion of conservatism are probably the biggest retards on this board.
And that's saying a lot given we have Jj, jb and SDV running around here.

Pretty bad when he let Fauci shut the country down and then printed $900 billion.

Great until he destroyed it with “15 days to slow the spread” and The Cares Act.

Awful, and we are still paying the price for that dumb decision. He flushed away all the goodwill he had in the last 1.5 years.

There was over $7 Trillion added to the National Debt during Donald Trump presidency which is much more like Democrats. There is that.
National Debt under Trump
It would be interesting to hear him talk about that on the debate stage. Hopefully he participates in one to address how it was different than when Obama was President, or Biden now. I'd like to hear his position on that.

Yes.
And this explains his appeal to blue collar, red-blooded, hard-working 'Mericans.
Trump stole the union workers from the Dems...and they hate him for it.
As an Eisenhower-ish Republican, I do too.

Kind of late now with this no?
I mean I am betting you even voted for him the last two elections.

It’s a response post to a classic Jjqueer thread.

Trump has never been an ideologue. He's moved right because he's a problem solver and most of the problems we have now have been created by demprogs, their policies and their subversions.
