Any Baws tune in yet? I personally think it’s great.

Watched the first episode last night.
Girl power. That's getting kind of old since Disney took over Star Wars.

The show is essentially a time jumped, live action Season 5 of Rebels. If you haven't watched Rebels and probably some of Clone Wars, Ahsoka can be a little confusing and feel like some steps have been skipped.
After watching the first 2 episodes of Ahsoka I went back and watched the Ahsoka Clone Wars playlist they have on Disney+ and I binged all of Rebels. Then I started Ahsoka over and it helps a lot.
I think they should have made a condensed, 1-2 season live action remake of Rebels before making Ahsoka Season 1, because so many people are going to refuse to watch a cartoon to catch up, but the background into the characters is kind of a big deal.

Here’s hoping it gets better

How bad is it?

i watched three episodes and finally bailed. the girl power stuff was a little annoying (mainly just the general), but the worst part is that it's just fricking boring. there is more walking, talking, pondering, pontificating, and absent staring than all of the prequels combined. but a lot of people on here seem to love it, so whatever.

The last two episodes have give fans exactly what they want.
As mentioned above, this show is heavily based on Clone Wars and Rebels. Some consider it a "Girl Power" show because the primary characters are females. However, that should not be shocking considering the story of Rebels. From Rebels, the main crew consists of Kanaan, Hera, Ezra, Sabine, Zeb, Chopper and sometimes Ahsoka and Rex.
Spoilers for Rebels below:
Kanaan sacrificed himself for the group, so he is gone.
Ezra has been gone to an unknown place as part of his effort to defeat Thrawn.
Zeb is serving in the New Republic and isn't with the group right now.
Presumably Rex is too old now (or possibly dead) considering his advanced aging from being a clone.
That only leaves Hera, Sabine, Chopper and Ahsoka from the Rebels crew (and now Jacen, too, but he is a child). So, of course, they are who the show will feature the most.

don't inject facts to them - they aren't interested. they are more interested in jumping in to shite on Disney and use the same, tired buzzwords "girl power" instead of looking at why the characters are featured.

I think he is too expensive. They made him look too realistic in Mando.

i get what you're saying because Ahsoka isnt near the level of "girl power" that a lot of Disney stuff is, but you can hardly blame people for having this attitude based on what Disney HAS put out for the last few years. they deserve all the "shitting on" that they get. i think a lot of people (me included) are so fed up with Disney that even DECENT content is viewed with so much cynicism that it's hard to judge clearly.
but seriously, that general chick is REALLY annoying.

i just checked my account. i watched all of episodes 1 and 2, then quit at the beginning of 3. then my buddy told me that episode 5 was awesome, so i just skipped ahead and watched it. i get why people liked it, but it felt really forced to me and border line patronizing, like "hey fans, look at this shiny thing! remember this guy? you have to like the show now!" meh.

Yes, no reason whatsoever to be a little gun shy about investing in a current Disney show

Its not.
Characters being female has zero plot relevance to anything going on in this show.
