Has anyone taken advantage of these specials yet? If so, what place would you recommend?
UPDATE So we did end up at Osteria Lupo. We could not get a reservation, but lucked into two seats at the bar right when we walked in. We did their coolinary which is basically the chef’s choice of 4 courses. It was fantastic. We started our with buratta cheese and a red snapper crudo.
I missed getting a picture of the pasta course, because we dug in so fast. It was a lump crabmeat with parm and Fresno chilis. Just the right amount of spice. Next was the entree which was their seared yellowfin tuna.
The tuna was outstanding. Each course was shareable, and just the right amount of food. Finally dessert was a raspberry and peanut butter Semifreddo. It was served with a brown butter crumble. This was a perfect way to cap off the meal.
For $50 per person, this is a great deal.

Costera blew it out the water this year. Have been twice.
If you have two people doing it you will waddle away with what they bring.
They are capped at 50, but have a 75 option that is not on coolinary, but brings it even harder.

The Pelican Club is always my favorite for things like this and the Revillion.

Looks like we are going to go to Osteria Lupo. I’ll give a report later.

Looks fantastic. I had Osteria Lupo the other day and it was kinda bad. Pasta was a step before al dente. Super crunchy.

What is that?

Kind of a cross between ice cream and custard
